SHIPPING & DELIVERY

At Smart Hardware, we understand that when you need IT equipment or supplies, you often need them quickly. That's why we put so much effort into expediting delivery as soon as possible. Our goal is to ship within 72 hours after the receipt of the order for in-stock items. The method of shipment of the networking hardware is selected by the customer and the cost of the shipment is added to the shopping cart or quote total prior to sale.

  • Shipment delays can happen from time-to-time for a variety of reasons. Smart Hardware attempts to keep its customers informed when an order is delayed; however we are not responsible for any consequential damages as a result of any delays.
  • Smart Hardware does not guarantee delivery on a certain date and/or time. Partial orders are shipped when certain items are not in stock.
  • Smart Hardware may wait to complete an order prior to shipping at customer's request.
  • Smart Hardware strives to complete all orders within 5 working days following order receipt.
  • The network hardware is packaged in accordance with Smart Hardware's current packaging specifications for networking hardware for the mode of shipment that the Smart Hardware customer selects, and the cost of packaging is included in the shopping cart or quote total prior to sale.
  • Currently Smart Hardware uses foam, bubble wrap and corrugated boxes to package every order. We hate those messy packing peanuts, and we try to never use them. In the event the item arrives damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to report any damaged equipment to the shipping carrier.
  • Smart Hardware works closely with the customer and shipping company to resolve in-transit damaged-goods issues in a timely manner.
  • The networking hardware is shipped freight pre-paid from Smart Hardware's manufacturing facility or staging area, and the customer assumes all risk of loss thereafter.
  • Please allow for 2-6 business days for ground shipping, depending on the shipping address provided. Smart Hardware is based in Miami FL, however not all orders are shipped from this location.
  • Orders placed during the weekends or holidays are shipped the next business day.
  • Smart Hardware does not guarantee product availability. Displayed availability is strictly a time estimate, and does not account for time involved in product testing and order handling.
  • Shipping quotes are estimated until order fulfillment. Orders are not shipped directly on checkout, and any cost differences are appropriately billed. Smart Hardware reserves the right to update shipping costs at any time, and will always do so in writing to the customer before fulfilling the order.
  • Billing and shipping addresses must be verified by the credit card company for timely shipping. Smart Hardware does not ship to unverified addresses under any circumstances. The customer must call their respective credit card company to add verified addresses. Smart Hardware is not responsible for unapproved addresses, and any delays caused thereof.
  • Smart Hardware is not liable for any shipping charges that may be incurred as a result of an undeliverable shipping address provided by the customer. Shipping charges will not be refunded under any circumstances. Smart Hardware will attempt to double check address accuracy as a courtesy, but cannot make any guarantees.
  • Smart Hardware's shipping policy does not permit items to be shipped to Post Office boxes. Physical address is required for security reasons.
  • The customer is solely responsible for any tariffs, customs or fees. Smart Hardware is not liable for shipping that is refused due to a failure of the customer to account for customer fees and tariffs.
  • All orders shipped by Smart Hardware are insured through the respective carrier.
